Handmade and of great quality - like all Georg Pandeiros: directly from the luthier's workshop in São Gonçalo do Rio das Pedras in Minas Gerais, where Georg Joos, German carpenter and accomplished pandeiro maker, lives and builds these very high quality pandeiros with superb and versatile sound.

All skins are medium thickness and hand picked. For the sound, this means they resonate well, have rich basses and bring a variety of sound characteristics that perfectly match the inconspicuous hand-hammered jingles and can be found across the Brazilian music genre. The pandeiro is beautifully crafted, with a 3-ply wooden frame in a variety of colors. The jingles are made of high quality brass, each with a center sheet, also made of brass. The flatrim, also handcrafted, is stainless steel and fits perfectly around the custom chosen hide. Georg Joos is a carpenter and luthier from Germany who lives in the beautiful region of Minas Gerais in Brazil where he builds his pandeiros. To make a traditional Brazilian musical instrument based on German craftsmanship is a perfect match. With precision and attention to detail Georg makes absolutely incredible instruments in his workshop in Minas and uses only the finest materials for authentic sound. From the tension hook to the interleaves, everything is thought-out, lightweight, visually beautiful and of high quality. He hand-picks the skins, each instrument is handmade down to the last detail.
