The Rebolo is a small handsurdo for Pagode sessions on the beach, in a bar or on stage. It usually comes with a double layered korino head or a fine goat skin. The rebolo provides the bass line for small ensembles with pandeiro, tamborim, agogo, reco reco, cavaquinho and singing. The rebolo is a versatile and easy to play handdrum with a warm and full bass sound which is often combined with its larger brother, the tan tan.
