Festival Village Borrego 2024 - how Paris celebrates afro-Brazilian culture
The association Couleurs Brazil aims to create social links in disadvantaged neighborhoods and to give the inhabitants of the Borrégo-Télégraphe-Saint Fargeau community, for more than 20 years, a role in their own neighborhood.
A family-friendly Brazilian-themed festival around cultural awareness in the heart of Paris
The Festival will be one week long, with the aim of exploring the dialogues and fusions between Creole, Brazilian, Caribbean, African and Latin American cultures. There will be a wide variety of activities, with musical performances, sales booths, exhibitions, round tables etc.

The association Couleurs Brazil is located on rue Borrego, hence the festival name, participating in the life of this district of the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Throughout the year they organise various events contributing to create a real community around the values of mutual support and social links.
This year's theme: Diaspora Africaine
A vibrant event expecting 50.000 participants, not only for families and people interested in Brazilian music and culture, but also for members of the European Samba scene to understand how Brazilian culture has imprinted neighbourhoods and how the their people connect with and through Brazilian music.
