Bahia Connection Workshop on Tenerife

It's a first! For the first time there will be a Bahia Connection Workshop on Tenerife. The musical journey to the Canary Islands under the guidance of Volker Konrath (Bloco Explosão Berlin, Bahia Connection Germany) includes a 5-day workshop with public performances and a visit to the legendary Carnival in Santa Cruz. The Carnival of Santa Cruz is the most famous carnival in Spain and has been listed as a " Festival of National Tourist Interest" since 1980. Moreover, the Santa Cruz Carnival is one of the most famous carnival celebrations in the world, after Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The first records of it date back to the 18th century. Fancy a visit?
