SAMBA BELT FOR JUNIOR SAMBISTAS - HIP STRAP XXS KIDS
When purchasing samba equipment for children, a number of aspects need to be considered:
The weight of the instrument should be chosen carefully and considering the physical ability of the kid. Very young kids might even be better of with an instrument stand or should not even be carrying any weight yet.
But from a certain age, carrying an own Samba drum is just part of the whole fun. We have therefore designed a kids size for our hip straps so the juniors can easily join a band with appropriate and comfortable equipment.
The strap has the same features as the adult sizes:
- thick, comfortable padding
- high wear comfort
- wide at the back
- 2 extra loops for surdo beaters
- 2 hooks for stable instrument suspension
The KIDS strap is recommended for a hip circumference of approx. 62-75 cm and is continuously adjustable; this size is usually recommended for kids from age 6-12. If you are not sure it will fit, please check your child's hip circumference measurements. The strap should not sit too high, the best position is lower down on the hip bones. Like this the instrument can rest in the center of gravity and the correct playing position can be adopted.
