SAMBANALE - SAMBISTA GET-TOGETHER AND FESTIVAL
A charming Samba get-together in the countryside, this festival is an important regular in the German Samba scene. Like many festivals, the event was interrupted by the pandemic for several years, but organiser Carsten Mohring has gotten everything up and running again and invites sambistas and groups from all over Europe to his encontro 'in the forest', where, after great success in the past, hundreds of sambistas will meet again this year.

Join us for a wonderful long weekend with sessions, workshops with mestres from the European Samba scene for all levels, kids programme, stalls and concerts. The Samba Night with great concerts is just one of the highlights!
The Sambanale has been around since 2010!
Back then, when the first Sambanale took place, hardly anyone could have imagined what the festival would develop into in just a few years! Still manageable and familiar, but with top-class workshops, international guests and of course always a lot of love for detail.
The Sambanale has become an important part of the German Samba scene's event calendar and is high up on the popularity scale - workshop and performance places are always sold out very quickly. The forest clearing gives the festival just the right flair. If you want to get hold of one of the nearby holiday flats, you have to book early. Outdoor freaks, camper van owners and the young and wild have the opportunity to camp directly at the edge of the forest in tents or celebrate Samba van life. Many a friendship has been made at the Sambanale. In the informal atmosphere on the grounds, you can quickly strike up a conversation, talk Samba and, of course, play together.
