The ultimative repinique stick, handy and conical shaped hard-wood kicks in for tight repinique calls, ideal also for Rio style caixa players!
Both ends are smothened out nicely. Hornbeam (laminated wood) is made of 0,7 mm strong beech veneer which is glued under pressure until its density is considerably increased. Therefore hornbeam sticks are slightly heavier than hickory sticks. They also have an extremely concise and brilliant sound. Good weightage a tight soundscape - but slightly less long-lasting than hickory sticks. A Samba stick with enjoyable handling, conical shaped and extraordinary sound-producing quality!

Wood types used:
- On the caixa and the repinique many of the played beats are rimshots. In order to produce sticks for these extreme demands, DURASTICKS are mainly made of American Hickory. This type of wood is extraordinary resistant and does not frazzle a lot.
- For those who prefer heavier sticks, we offer sticks made of Hornbeam. This wood is also especially hard and has therefore a very defined and light sound when used for playing rimshots. Due to its hard surface, it wears out quicker.
Sambistas sometimes have very particular preferences refering to their sticks. The DURASTICK assortment Durastick-Sortiment is constantly being developed and extended in order to accomplish all wishes and needs.

Alles okay, gut verarbeitet
Mit diesen Sticks spielt es sich den merklichen Ticken leichter als mit anderen.
Wenn es überhaupt etwas gibt, das schade ist, dann allenfalls, dass sie natürlich nicht für die Ewigkeit gemacht sind.
Das allerdings liegt in der Natur der Sache, dass man mit dem Material Holz andauernd auf eine Kante schlägt und ist unvermeidlich.

Sehr sauber und glatt verarbeiteter Stick. Die Form ist identisch mit dem konischen Hickory Modell. Das Hornbeam Modell ist aufgrund des etwas höheren Gewicht etwas wuchtiger im Schlag. Sehr schöner Rebound.
Die Sticks wirken kräfti und stabil. Sie sind jedoch für die Caiya de Guerra nicht wirklich geeignet
Sehr stabiler Repistick der nicht gleich bei längerem Gebrauch splittert . Habe schon den 3 gekauft und bleibe dabei .
