You are new to the pandeiro and don't really know where to start? Marcos Suzano's introduction to his methodology of playing the pandeiro is the perfect start for a solid and stable playing technique that will pave your way as a pandeirista or simply as a hobby player. The course is in Portuguese with subtitles. Marcos shows with slow and clear examples how to get started and how you can get ready to play the pandeiro in no time. During the shooting we made sure to film simultaneously from different angles so you can see exactly where your hand is placed on the instrument while playing. All your basic questions will be answered: How do I hold the pandeiro? Where does the hand hit the instrument? What kind of tones can you play and how to play them? With simple and easy to understand exercises you will play through the first part of the workshop in 3 course sections.
