The book deals with the Caboclinhos of Pernambuco (Northeast Brazil), a tradition of dance music that dramatizes indigenous cultural processes; this includes photography, sketches of the parade and the musical groups, 72 characteristic rhythmic patterns and scores that refer to a complete cycle of different dance songs that include a particular staging. The work is aimed at three traditional groups: Tribo Canindé, 7 Flexas (both from the city of Recife) and União 7 Flexas (from Goiana, a city in the Zona da Mata-Norte de Pernambuco).
