RITUAL DRUMMING:
Here you have the rare occasion of taking part at a workshop for atabaques and congas learning the extraordinary rhythms and songs of afro Brazilian tradition. Those rhythms have great impact in modern Brazilian music. The main instruments played are atabaques and congas on which you will learn how to play the complex rhythms of Candomblé and Umbanda and will be introduced to the musical principals of those traditional music styles.

PANDEIRO:
A whole weekend dedicated to the all-star percussion instrument pandeiro!
Loads of material around the most popular Brazilian instrument is awaiting you! The focus will be on modern techniques and traditional ways of playing, e.g. mixing Samba or Baião with Funk, transferring Maracatu rhythms on the pandeiro and developing new grooves.

BATERIA TOTAL! SAMBA FIEVER:
Dudu especially considers the individual level of each player: less experienced musicians will connect to the rhythms with easier voices while advanced musicians have the opportunity to learn and practice challenging solo phrases or calls. Like always, Dudu will present own compositions, new arrangements and up-to-date developments from Brazil. The Samba Fiever is a great occasion for groups who want to learn new grooves!
