Tan Tan
| TanTan - the deep sounding handsurdo, essential in all small samba bands. Traditionally mounted with a goatskin head, the tan tan nowadays is mostly played with a double-layered korino head ( synthetic leather ) and thus supplies a powerfull basic beat. An additional rhythm can be played on the shell of the tan tan. |
