Gongue
 | In the Maracatu one tradtionally replaces the agogo by a very large and loud metal bell - the gongue. The gongue is mounted on a handle which rests on the players hip and thus enables him to comfortably play this heavy instrument. Additionally a belt can be adjusted to gain even more playing comfort. |
